- If the Reanimator is in an area where the patient would get stuck if they get revived. (except when they're inside teleporters)

Is this really an action slot item

I played the update and I was revived without having an item equipped. I had the Battery Canteen equipped and the Medic on my team still revived me. TheNoobThatWas (talk) 18:52, 21 November 2013 (PST)

No, it's not an action slot item. It will automatically work. xXEnd3rGamerXx 18:53, 21 November 2013 (PST)
This page would more less be moved and merged with the upgrade station. (It may not be an upgrade but its something that is worth noting on their than its own page) Ashes (talk) 18:54, 21 November 2013 (PST)

Obvious reference.

I think its reference for Ghostbusters trap. GlobalS (talk) 19:30, 21 November 2013 (PST)

Teleporter Bug

A medic revived me as scout directly on the teleporter exit. After i respawned i was stuck inside the tele. Raygius (talk) 13:31, 23 November 2013 (PST)

Could the respawning process be from this?

Similarly from the medigun, could there have been a larger non-portable version of the reanimater from the gravel wars, that was used to respawn the class rather then the "clones" of them?

Possible bug

If you look directly up and hold the Loose Cannon for too long, if you die from an overcharged bomb, your Reanimator lands on its side. An overcharged Beggar's Bazooka does this as well for me. Can anyone else confirm?

Get teleported by the medic when revived

If you died while standing still and your reanimator falls down not coinciding with your position while you were alive, it's possible that when you get revived. You will get teleported to where the Medic is standing,I tested this on MvM_Steep and I managed to revive an engineer from the other side

Reanimator things on when it decides to teleport the revived patient to the Medic or not

Yep I did some bit of research into this, but trying to explain it without a discussion might just go nowhere

Based on my tests, this is somewhat some of the stuff the game checks when deciding to teleport the patient to the Medic or not:

- If the Reanimator is in an area where the patient would get stuck if they get revived. (except when they're inside teleporters) - If the Medic is currently above world geometry that the game does not happen to consider it to be on nearly the same level as where the reanimator is.

Having either one of these conditions would make the patient teleport to exactly where the Medic currently is at.

The threshold for the game to think is currently above a geometry higher than the Reanimator is veryyy low, the image below may be best a visualizing the minimum height needed for a revived patient to teleport to the Medic. File:Talk Reanimator Revive TP Example.png

It checks what world geometry the Medic is currently above, so jump height upgrades won't force the patient teleportation.
