'''Phishing''' is an attempt to acquire a users information such as usernames, passwords and other sensitive information by mimicking a trustworthy entity. In steam a "phisher" will try to get a users username and password to steal in-game items or obtain the users credit card information.

==How to identify a phishing attack==
 
Normally a target of a phishing attack will be sent a message that asks them to enter there username and password on a specified website. The website will most likely be a clone of a ligament steam website. DO NOT go to the website unless you trust the sender.
 
If a website requests a steam username and password make sure it is a steam login
