The Golden Charity was an event, in which blogger and TF2 player WINGSPAN[T3], a Golden Wrench recipient, invited other recipients of the Wrench to destroy their Golden Wrenches for the charity Child's Play. 12 others joined him, and on August 31st, 2010, the 13 Wrenches were destroyed, after having raised almost $31,000 USD.[1]
