Gun Mettle Uppdateringen är en stor uppdatering som introducerade vapen texturer, 4 nya kartor och 3 nya hån. Den introducerade även Gun Mettle-kampanjen, ett tremånaders evenemang som lät spelare göra skicklighetsbaserade utmaningar för att låsa upp unika vapen och exklusiva vapenlådor. För att delta i Gun Mettle-kampanjen, fick spelare köpa Gun Mettle-kampanjpasset som kunde köpas i Mann Co.- butiken.

Ytterligare innehåll lades till i Augusti 27, 2015 Patch, med införandet av Gun Mettle-kosmetiklådan.
