According to some of the comments on [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ABLluYwt9Q this video], the extra metal cost when trying to upgrade a teleporter when the other end's not yet built is intentional, and actually heals the other end as if wrenching an operational building (which I've confirmed myself). I am assuming that this has to be sourced as intentional, so how does one source a YouTube comment? The text of the one I found reads: ''It's intentional. I emailed Eric Smith about this a while ago and he got back to me saying what you said. "When you hit the completed teleporter you’re healing the teleporter that’s still being constructed (until it has full health). This can help protect the teleporter from being destroyed while it’s being built."'' [[User:Toomai|Toomai]] [[User talk:Toomai|Glittershine]] 12:33, 25 July 2015 (PDT)

I don't know how to change it, but the table indicating the costs for levels hasn't been updated yet. Can someone explain how to change it/change it themselves?

Teleporter suicide

Is it the specific server or the game that blows up my teleporter if i place them too close together? Turtlebolt 06:41, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

It's a server mod to stop people carrying out some teleporter exploits. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 06:44, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Teleporter HP more than it should be?

Something fairly hard to notice with the stock HUD, but a while ago, I got a screenshot of my own teleporter having more health than it should: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=121883477

Note: This was on a non-modded server, it had not been sapped as no Spy could reach it, and I only noticed it had 310 HP instead of 216 when I went to put my mini down and glanced at the exit.

Was there a stealth buff to Teleporters or does this seem like a bit of a freak occurence? TheKholdOne 07:56, 1 February 2013 (PST)

The "extra metal penalty when initially building" silliness

According to some of the comments on this video, the extra metal cost when trying to upgrade a teleporter when the other end's not yet built is intentional, and actually heals the other end as if wrenching an operational building (which I've confirmed myself). I am assuming that this has to be sourced as intentional, so how does one source a YouTube comment? The text of the one I found reads: It's intentional. I emailed Eric Smith about this a while ago and he got back to me saying what you said. "When you hit the completed teleporter you’re healing the teleporter that’s still being constructed (until it has full health). Teleporter Table Needs Updating

I don't know how to change it, but the table indicating the costs for levels hasn't been updated yet. Can someone explain how to change it/change it themselves?
