Since June 30, 2010, the Official Team Fortress Wiki was born and on June 30, 2011, the first birthday of the Wiki is celebrated. The Official Team Fortress Wiki itself has reached the impressive number of 15,527 articles, 23,374 uploaded files, 15,007 registered users and 673,570 edits since June 30, 2010. Thundermountain made a page in honor of its birthday.
One year ago...
...the Official Team Fortress Wiki was opened for everybody! The project of starting this Wiki was run by ambitious community members, which, thanks to the support of Valve and their huge effort, wanted to make the biggest source of information about Team Fortress series in existance. Since then, a large number of editors, translators and staff of the Wiki, have worked together to make the Wiki as we know today: an enormous source of information about Team Fortress series, updated and with precise information, with not only information, but with community-created guides and strategies, go one step further on the potential of the Official Team Fortress Wiki.
Wiki Cap
The dream hat for thousand of users on the Official Team Fortress Wiki. This is probably the only Wiki that rewards its users with such a prize. As you may guess, statitcs show that 99% of users edit Wiki pages in order to get a Wiki Cap. But this desire of getting such a prize make the users put a big effort on it.

In honor of the Team Fortress Wiki update, some users made some hats replacements found in the page that Thundermountain made in honor of the Wiki's birthday. These includes: 'The Firgrim', made by Aperture AI, chosen by HyenaDip ; 'The Trendy Bastard', made and chosen by Aperture AI ; 'The Fearless Joseph' made by Nero123, chosen by DrAkcel ; and 'The Convincing Cover', made by Aperture AI, chosen by Tturbo.
