About me
There we are, it's been over a year I've been wandering on the TF2 Wiki, dreaming about contributing to it by translating in French and perhaps adding advices in English. However, I was lazy and lacked motivation.
But one day, Valve realeased a hell of a motivation: The Awesome Shiny Useless (like every single hats/misc, but who cares about that anyway ?) Wiki Cap. Yes, I must admit it, the sole reason of me registering on TF2 Wiki was the possible obtention of such a rage-producing virtual item. However, when I started translating my first article (which is Non-player characters/fr), I found it was a hard, boring, but somewhat enjoyable work.
I'm from France, living the French Riviera, born in [Put there a year not directly following 1992] and I mainly play...every single class, with a slight preference for the Demoman.
If you desire me to add you to my Steam friend list, please contact me on this wiki first, so we could know each other. I won't add people I never heard about.
I am a regular user at the French TF2 community www.teamfortress2.fr's forum.

In other News
(All dates will be dd/mm/yyyy format)
- Middle 2009: As the unofficial French wiki (www.wikitf2.com) has little to not been updated since the Scout Update, I went wandering on the Internet, desperately needing information about that little brat's new weapons. This is how I randomly stumbled upon TF2 Wiki, which didn't have an official version at this time.
- 02/11/10: There, I finally decided registering to edit and translate pages. Woo-hoo.
- 08/11/10: I start editing things. Needless to say I am very happy. But...before registering, I heard about the new "security" system requiring new translators to do some tasks, such as translating a Store article or something, before being allowed to edit. This didn't happen to me. Lies ?
- 09/11/10: Created "Non-player characters/fr", my first big translation. It isn't the most enjoyable or the shortest article to translate, either.
- 12/11/10: Patience finally paid. I finished translating this monster. Done, and done right, by myself only (as for now, except for a {Trans} tag added by another user).
- 13/11/10: Compression blast/fr was really short compared to the last article I created and translated.
- 15/11/10: Third article translated: Australium/fr. Yes, I translate unexisting articles I random stumble upon. It may not be very useful at first, but hey, I can't help it, and I'm doing a good job...isn't it ?
- Anyway, this helps us (i.e. Frenches translators) to clear the gap between our translation progress (62% at the time I'm writing this) and the Fat Men (i.e. Russian translators)'s (78%). Quite awkward, Gentlemen.
- 18/11/10: Fourth article done: Saxton Hale/fr.
- 20/11/10: And another article created and translated: Mann Co./fr. Now that I'm done with background articles, let's do some useful translations. Community class strategy, here I come !
Funny Facts, Did you know...
- ...That, despite his huge intellect and general awesomeness, 'Stache still believes that he could earn the Wiki Cap before the end of this year ?
- ...That 'Stache once had a mic, and used to scream "FUCKING LAG" every time he got killed in tf2 ?
- ...That despite the aforementioned mic commiting suicide, 'Stache still uses to scream "FUCKING LOW FRAMERATE" each and every time he gets killed ?
- ...That using an efficient fps config and a complete no-phong doesn't prevent 'Stache's average framerate from being as low as 10fps ?
- ...That this means he is roughly useless in an actual game, despite his extremely high skill with every single class ?
