If you are going with a Jurassic Park theme, you have to have a helicopter. But, it has to be 1960s. It has to be classic. It has to be famous. It has to be tropical. It has to be marine. And it has to be comical. It has to be the H-34!
After the first decade of the jet age, the Sikorsky H-34 was the last of the diesel punk aircraft.

Summary

The two aircraft having this profile, the H-34 and the H-19 (also the Soviet knock off of the latter) owe their bulbous and high cockpit to a desperate 1950s search for sufficient horsepower in a piston engine for heavy lift missions. A huge 1,500 horsepower radial bomber engine from the 1930s, angled to the props, is concealed under the hood (fancifully flattened in the TF2 model). Three exhaust collectors come out the hole on the left front (only on a piston aircraft). This engine is the reason the H-34 sounds like a Sherman tank when winding up for take off. The distinctive screening over the nose permits the downwash to flow over the air-cooled cylinders. The H-34 has three wheels, while the others have four, because, because it's tail is low while the other's tails are high.

See why there are those odd handles on the helicopter's nose here.

Beggars the imagination! ("diesel punk" experiment in 1986)
