Merge with Health

Health & Healing overlap quite and complete each other, for example the healing rate is found on the health page, but not here. Blutsauger's leech is on both. I suggest a merge. --CruelCow 16:53, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

This page is more about the medic, while Health is more about pickups and non-medic sources of health. Nineaxis 16:57, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Megaheal

In last beta patch was a mention of The Quick-Fix with Megaheal. It is necessary or is possible to add already the given information in to healing page ? And about merge with Health page - I consider that it is not necessary to do it . Rins 06:24, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Backscratcher

I think it's healing rate deserves a mention here (as it is different), but not sure how to word it cleanly. BASEBALLFURIES 22:46, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Fire

I thought there was a special medic call bubble if you were on fire while calling. Does that exist? The Seabear 02:11, 11 August 2011 (PDT)

Well this slipped between the cracks. Can someone find the file and upload it? --User Firestorm Flame.png Firestorm 09:54, 16 January 2012 (PST)

Non-decaying overheal bug

I recently noticed that an overhealed player can keep the overheal from decaying by standing next to a dispenser or by being continuously healed by a Medic using the Quick-Fix. To the best of my knowledge, that bug did not happen before the Uber Update. I figure this is the article to which it belongs, since it's here that the overheal mechanic is explained? Adreadline 17:07, 3 September 2011 (PDT)

I'm not sure it's a bug; actually I tend to imagine it's a deliberate change, though that isn't certain either. Does it predate the August 3, 2011 Patch? There's an entry "Fixed a case where health overheal wasn't being applied when multiple healers were involved." in the patch notes for that one: I can imagine the maintained-overheal behaviour being a consequence (intended or unintended) of that change. The fact that a few patches have gone by and the effect is still there (January 11, 2012 Patch, version 1.1.9.3 at present) increases a bit the likelihood that it's intentional, I assume.
(There's one odd wrinkle to the maintained-overheal effect which I'm pretty sure *is* a bug even if the whole thing isn't: Spies never benefit from it while disguised, not even if they're being healed by a friendly while disguised as a friendly.) Pathetic One 01:13, 15 January 2012 (PST)
I think it's a bug, personally. Going so long without being fixed doesn't not make something a bug. Balladofwindfishes 06:42, 16 January 2012 (PST)
The mechanic kind of makes sense. Whether it's a bug or not though, it definitely needs to be mentioned somewhere. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 08:08, 16 January 2012 (PST)
This feature has been patched on April 17 : dispenser, carts and QuickFixes do not maintain the overheal anymore. The Burger 03:12, 25 April 2012 (PDT)
Cut the Quick-Fix out! April_18,_2012_Patch fixed about maintain the overheal for Quick-Fix. Killicon black rose.png Hinaomi 08:41, 25 April 2012 (PDT)

Quick-Fix + Dalokohs Bar Overheal

From some playtesting I found that the data on the overheal on the table is incorrect for the two items mentioned above; it should be 425 max overheal, not the 450 it says it is right now. And since the table seems inoperable (at least from my standpoint), if someone who knows how to edit it can fix it it would be appreciated. Maybe you should ask User:Darkid, he's the one that create that template. That table is the template, I looked at it and try to update but sadly that it's complex one. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 17:04, 21 June 2015 (PDT)
