I have noticed your modifications to some high-use templates.

While I am sure we should be quick to welcome anyone to help us maintain our templates, I am thinking it would be helpful for you to visit and discuss your plans or suggestions on the IRC (we there have been wondering). I read your edit explanations and you seem experienced with Wikipedi; then, you should be aware of WP High-risk_templates.

The fact that Wikipedia has a particular template is not necessarily sufficient reason for TFwiki to have it was well, not that there aren’t certain ones I have missed here. That said, Wikipedia has an unfathomable force of editors capable of developing immensely deep templates. We on the other hand have to be careful of the maintenance burden we take on.

I apologize for the generally broken talk pages, but I assure you that our IRC works better. Personally, adding me for steam chat works best for me.

Hi there and welcome to the TF Wiki! As much as we appreciate newcomers coming here to clean up the mess of others, you should at the very least start a discussion or consult someone prior to making such changes, preferably a staff member, regardless of your experience.

Now, about the move on Template doc: Frankly, this is uncalled for. It was nothing more but an abbreviation for the sake of saving time on writing — it does not have to be grammatically correct. If you'd like to propose a move of a page, feel free to start a discussion, or you can place {{Template:Move}} at the top of the article.

Moreover, please refrain from adding modules willy-nilly or simply because Wikipedia use them; in short, we're not Wikipedia and have different standards and practices, although we still inherit some of their practices, it is not necessary for us to utilize the same modules.

If you'd like to propose a technical request, you may do so here.

I don't mean to sound disencouraging, but I'd advise you to hold off with the technical stuff, for now.

On another note, new replies (on Flow) may take some time to fully show due to cache issues. Either keep refreshing or purge the page using ?action=purge at the end of the URL. If neither work, check back in a day or two.
