The Soldier

The Frying Pan is an unlockable weapon included in the Polycount Pack, used by the Soldier and Demoman. Gameplay-wise it has no difference from the Shovel and/or Bottle; it is just a different model as with the Big Kill and Lugermorph . Even though it pops up on the craft list, It can't be crafted currently. The weapon is likely related to the new Left 4 Dead 2 campaign, "The Sacrifice," and will be released around the time the DLC is released.   • The Frying Pan is a melee weapon in another Valve game, Left 4 Dead 2.
  • A similar Frying Pan was designed for the unofficial Fancy vs. Nasty update.
  • The Demoman's taunt with the Frying Pan is the same as that of the Bottle, so he drinks the Frying Pan as he does the Pain Train.
