The World Traveler's Hat is a headwear item for all classes and was released as a part of the Australian Christmas update. It appears as a Template:W adorned with the Team Fortress 2 logo. The item is unlocked when a player purchases a stamp from the Mann Co. Store. Each hat is ranked from Bronze to Unobtanium, and the rank is dependent upon how many stamps have been purchased by the player. Every 25 stamps purchased per map, levels the hat up to the next rank.
The hat will have a particle effect attached to it if the wearer has purchased a stamp for the map they are playing on, unless that player also has the Earbuds equipped, in which case the Earbuds' particle effect will override the traveler's hat.
Ranks
Rank | Number of Stamps |
---|---|
Bronze | 0-24 |
Silver | 25-49 |
Gold | 50-74 |
Platinum | 75-99 |
Diamond | 100-124 |
12-karat Australium | 125-149 |
18-karat Australium | 150-199 |
24-karat Australium | 200-224 |
Unobtanium | 225-250 |
- Note: the ranks of "Diamond", 12-, 18-, and 24-karat Australium and "Unobtanium" are unverified.
