The Détective Noir is a community-created headwear item for the Spy. It appears as a team colored stereotypical 1930s detective hat adorned with a diagonally striped stash.
This hat was originally created in the Fancy vs. Nasty Update and since has been officially added to the game.

Update history
- The Détective Noir was added to the Mann Co. Store, made craftable, and included in random drops.
- Paint texture on the Détective Noir was improved.
Trivia
- The noir's style was common among detectives and private eyes in Hollywood crime dramas of the 1940s and '50s.
- "Template:W" is a term used to describe films with dark or shady undertones, and is most cited with these detective movies.
