The Blighted Beak is a community-created miscellaneous item for the Medic. It is a bird-like mask, styled directly after the primitive respirators historically worn by Template:W. Its "Vibrio Cholerae" style gives it a light leather appearance with black stitching.

Trivia
- Beak masks, whilst finding popularity in mask parties, originated as a makeshift gas mask for Medieval Template:Ws during the Black Death. The beak was reputed to be filled with scented materials, such as posies, roses, carnations, mint, camphor, or even a vinegar-soaked sponge, as at the time it was believed that bad smells caused disease.
- The contributors of the Blighted Beak also created the Grimm Hatte, another Bubonic Plague themed hat.
- The styles available for the Blighted Beak refer both to two bacteria species. The default style, "Template:W", is named after the one responsible for the Bubonic Plague and the alternative style, "Template:W", is named after a the one that causes cholera in humans.
