Revision as of 00:52, 30 October 2010

Scream Fortress is the event associated with the October 27, 2010 Patch, which included the release of the two new Artpass Contest-winning maps, new Hats, new items, and new Ghostchievements.

It is the 2010 equivalent of the 2009 Haunted Halloween Special, in which Harvest was added, and thus, the second Halloween event to be held in Team Fortress 2.

Main article: Mann Manor

The primary new addition in Scream Fortress is the Mann Manor, a Halloween-themed map with a new pseudo-game mode, in which the Horseless Headless Horsemann, the apparition of Silas Mann, must be killed by both teams in cooperation.

This map also features custom models for Health pick-ups and Pumpkin bombs, similar to Harvest.

It's a standard Control Point map, with three Control Points which must be captured by BLU in order. BLU team starts outside the Mann Manor, and eventually find their way inside.

The Horseless Headless Horsemann

Main article: Horseless Headless Horsemann

The Horseless Headless Horsemann is the undead apparition of Silas Mann. A neutral character, he will attack both RED and BLU teams until he is slain, an achievement, considering his Health ranges up to 9400, depending on the player count in the server (a minimum of 10 players is required for him to spawn in the first place).
