The Demoman's Fro is an unlockable headwear item for the Demoman. It appears as an afro hairstyle with a team-colored headband. The Demoman's Fro, with its small size and headband, is intended to resemble the afro worn by rock legend Jimi Hendrix, rather than the oversized "disco" fro.

Trivia
- The Demoman's Fro is not a hat per se, but rather the removal of the gray skullcap hat the Demoman normally wears. Due to the addition of the headband and other technical details, the Fro is not categorized as a hatless item.
- Incidentally, the gray skullcap is still underneath his Fro, (as with every other Demoman hat). Before patching, his hair used to fall off upon death. It is also unknown how the afro fits under the skullcap, which could possibly mean it is a wig.
- The afro hairstyle was a trend in the 60's and 70's, popularized by disco culture and featuring in many blaxploitation films.
- The Demoman's hair worn in this fashion makes him appear similar to Samuel L. Jackson's character Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction, though with a headband. There are many fan based videos featuring the Demoman as Jules, so this may be a nod to those.
- With the afro the Demoman also bears a striking similarity to Jimi Hendrix, when he played at Woodstock in 1969, one of the most famous concerts in history.
- Using any paint cans with this hat will actually change the color of the Demoman's hair rather than the headband. This can lead to several bizarre hairstyles.
- The Demoman's Fro is one of the few random drop hats that still lacks a description.
- This hat's name is technically grammatically incorrect, since 'fro is an abbreviation and should use an apostrophe.
- Dying the Demoman's Fro white with An Extraordinary Abundance Of Tinge causes it to bear an uncanny resemblance to the hairstyle of Spiritualist Psychic Gary Privey, who, among feats such as accurate psychic predictions, is known for having a large white afro.
