The Blighted Beak is a community-created headwear item for the Medic and was released as a part of the Australian Christmas update. It appears as a bird-like mask that is styled directly after the primitive respirators historically worn by Template:W.
Previous Changes
December 20, 2010 (item server update): Blighted Beak is added to the Mann Co. Store, made craftable, and included in random drops.

- Before it was officially added in the game, the item was released as a skin replacing the Physician's Procedure Mask by Pie_Tony and Communist Cake in the TF2 Mod Emporium at the Facepunch forums.
