The Double-Barrel Shotgun, often referred to as the "Super Shotgun", is a weapon for the Soldier, Medic, Heavy Weapons Guy, Spy, and Engineer.

Compared to the Single-Barrel Shotgun, the Double-Barrel Shotgun fires 8 more pellets, allowing it to do considerably more damage at close range. Due to the lack of damage falloff in Team Fortress Classic, it still makes for an effective weapon at longer ranges.

The Double-Barrel Shotgun holds twice as many shells compared to the Single-Barrel Shotgun, and consumes two shells per shot. Similarly, two shells are loaded into the clip after each reload cycle.
