The Hound Dog is an unlockable headwear item for the Heavy. It appears as a greased black quiff with sunglasses. The sunglasses are for cosmetic effect only, and do not cause a darkening of the player's screen.

Trivia

• The quiff and sunglasses look was popularized by Elvis Presley, after whom the item is named, and the Teddy Boy movement of the 1950s.
• The Heavy's original concept art featured a mullet.
• There is speculation that this hat could mean that the Heavy is interested in American Pop culture, which also explains why he owns a Football Helmet.
• Progg, creator of this item, created and submitted the winning The Gas Man pack for the Polycount Pack contest.
