The Mann Co. Store Package is a single-use action item given to players for spending $19.99/£15/€18/₽1220 (before tax is applied) or more in the Mann Co. Store. It appears in the backpack as a brown paper gift bag with the Mann Co. logo stenciled on the side. It is also distributed to players who activate the in-game promotional item Steam code provided with the collector's edition of Portal 2: Songs to Test By or a CD copy of the Team Fortress 2 Official Soundtrack.
Description
The item replaces the free, uncraftable items formerly given after spending $19.99/£15/€15/R$30/₽1220 in the Mann Co. Store.
Upon using the item via the backpack interface, the player receives a random item that can be found via the item drop system (such as weapons, cosmetic items, and tools). All items received can be traded and used in crafting.
Steam Translation Bundle
After the August 10, 2012 Patch, all users of the Steam Translation Server had a chance to get an item called Steam Translation Bundle. It could randomly appear for any applied translation string as Steam code to be activated via Steam Library. Once activated, the translator would be given a Mann Co. Store Package, but with different Schema number. The only difference between them is the way to obtain an item. These bundles are no longer available due to the lack of available codes.
