The '''Soldier's Stash''' is a headwear item for the [[Soldier]] and was released with [[Sniper vs Spy Update]] as the first hat available for the Soldier. It appears as the Soldier's regular WW2 M-1 steel helmet but with the addition of a band holding a pack of cigarettes, the eponymous stash, as well as an ace of spades playing card. The additions are intended to represent the appearance of the modified M-1 helmet as used in the Vietnam War.

Curiosità

  • La fascia elastica è stata progettata per mantenere legati all'elmetto elementi per mimetizzarsi, come ad esempio fogliame. Durante la guerra del Vietnam, però, la banda venne utilizzata per lo più per legare all'elmetto oggetti di uso comune tra i soldati, come sigarette, repellenti per gli insetti e caricatori extra per le armi, così come mostrato nel film Full Metal Jacket.
  • Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, i soldati del 506º Reggimento di fanteria paracadutista della 101esima Divisione Aerotrasportata, invece, le Aquile Urlanti usavano dipingere e marchiare un lato dei loro elmetti con un asso di picche in modo da rappresentare la fortuna in riferimento al gioco delle Carte.
