Yes it's correct! — everybody hates pyro 09:44, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Not appearing?

Is it just me, or is this not telling me how many days ago the patch and blog were? Did someone break it?  – Smashman (talk) 08:25, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm thinking the latter, as I don't see them either. -Shine () 08:29, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
It doesn't currently handle well across months (displays -1 days ago) so it just hides it altogether when this happens. seb26 [talk] 08:31, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
It's not broken, it's just reached a limitation of the date code. It can't figure out the difference between the 17th of this month and the 17th of last month, so it doesn't attempt to calculate the days ago from the previous month. Nothing we can do about it without a countdown/countup extension or extremely complex templates that can account for months with varying lengths. -- Pilk (talk) 08:32, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
I can make it display (Last month) instead, but it doesn't make sense to do that considering they would be a counted in any other case. -- Pilk (talk) 08:33, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Minor problem (time zones)

Since this template (presumably) runs off UTC, I see it saying the Jan 3 patch was released "yesterday" even though it's still the 3rd here (EST). I don't know if it's possible to take the time off users' preferences (defaulting to UTC for IPs), but it'd be nice, since even though you only see it once or twice it's still confusing seeing today's date with "yesterday" written underneath it (which should be very common, since most users are probably in North America). It is not possible, we would love to be able to do this though. -- Pilk (talk) 02:43, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
