This needs some revamps!

I was wholly unaware of this until I stumbled across this a few weeks ago. Apparently this was made in 2011 and hasn't been touched since, which is awful! This could be really useful as a quicky, flashy way to alert Wiki users of current events and happenings around the wiki if we use this correctly. Here's a few suggestions while I'm here.

• Archive Banners 2 and 6. Six is about a seemingly abandoned project ("Meet the Wiki"), while Two is identical to an already archived banner.
• Put this on the Main Page. This was made for it, and in an era before my time (and by that I mean before my time on the Wiki) it might've actually been on there, but I'm not certain.
• Bring back the Saxxy Banners every award season. The Saxxies have been an (almost) yearly tradition for TF2 ever since their conception. Why not make the Banners a yearly tradition too?
• Create a Banner for the IRC. If we bring more attention to the IRC chat, it might become livelier. It's almost always really quiet when I join, but that just might be my luck.
• Create a Banner for Translation progress. If we bring more attention to the translation project, it might gain traction. Who knows? Maybe we can finally update those Arabic pages that haven't been touched since 2011!
• Give the Banners a visual overhaul. To be frank, these don't look that great. But that's alright, nothing that a short trip to Photoshop can't fix!

It'd start on these myself, but I'm supposed to be on Wiki break. I'll jot these down on my to-do list for when I get back, but I'd like some help. Anyone want to pitch in? This page has been defiled by Jboby1! (U|T|C) 03:08, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

Haven't started on these yet, but then again I did just get back from my Wikibreak. Here's an idea; what if we add a randomizer element to some of the ads? For example, the Wiki Cap ad could show a different class wearing a Wiki Cap every time it appears. Does that sound good?

I'm also considering making the ads themselves a little bigger height-wise. Not too much, but enough to fit more detail into them. Maybe 1.5x the size they are now?
