The Conniver's Kunai is a melee weapon for the Spy. It is based off the Japanese ninja Template:W, originally used as a farming tool.
Equipping it reduces max health by 65, reducing the Spy's health to 60, making the Spy class to have the least max health compared to the other classes, but health from enemies is absorbed upon a backstab, giving the Spy overheal equal to their health, up to a maximum of 180. The extra health functions the same as a standard overheal.
The Conniver's Kunai was released with the Shogun Pack, awarded to players who preordered Total War: SHOGUN 2 on Steam before March 15, 2011, as well as through purchase from the Mann Co. Store, crafting, and item drops. Versions of the item received via the Total War: SHOGUN 2 pre-order promotion have Genuine quality.
Bugs
- The Kunai clips through the Spy's sleeve in first person view.
- When overhealed, you still can be set on fire, but unable to pick up health kits.
