The Momma Kiev is a community-created cosmetic item for the Heavy. It is a chicken with team-colored feathers wearing an Officer's Ushanka that sits on the Heavy's left shoulder. Its head remains in place despite the player's movements.
This item has two styles, named "Comrade" and "Casual". The "Casual" style removes the Officer's Ushanka.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
The Momma Kiev was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
