The alert system, added in the Mannconomy Update, is a system to alert players of several events. These alerts are viewable both while playing in a server and on the Main menu. Several features of the game utilise the system to bring attention to important events.

To see these messages on the main menu the player can click the flashing alert icon, when players have several alerts the number increases on the alert icon to show this, each alert will then be listed with a view and ignore button on the main menu. Whilst in game an alert panel will pop up on the HUD, if there are multiple alerts these panels will stack, the topmost alert can then be accepted or ignored by using the bound keys (default J and K).

Any alerts attributed to a specific player will display the Steam username and player icon.

Generally when you have alerts this sound plays, however there are many events that use their own sounds.
