The Thermal Thruster is a secondary weapon for the Pyro. It is a team-colored metallic jetpack with two rocket thrusters on each side with the right truster having the symbol, and an enclosed yellow light on the top.

The Thermal Thruster fires a quick blast that launches the Pyro in the direction they are aiming. It has a 1.1 second holster duration. When the Pyro lands on the ground, it knocks all nearby enemies back. Depending on how high the Pyro jumps from when the Thermal Thruster is activated determines how powerful the knockback on enemies is. The initial take-off can extinguish teammates.

Taunting with the Thermal Thruster equipped will perform the Gas Blast kill taunt.

The only way to currently obtain the Item is to complete Pyroland contracts 1-3.
