Trivia
- Merryweather helmets were originally produced by the Merryweather company, a 19th-century British manufacturer of firefighting equipment.
- This is the second Pyro hat to be styled after a firefighter's helmet.
- The Merryweather was originally submitted as the "Vintage Pyrolean" (most likely a play on the Vintage Tyrolean's name) and is labeled "pyrolean" in the game files.
- The initial design had the Vintage Merryweather entirely gold, but the author decided it was changed due to it appearing too plain and bright.[1]
- The description of this was written by ASpieboy.
- The brim of this hat partially obscures the Pyro's eye holes, which appears to give him/her "angry eyes".
- Due to pre-Mann-Conomy Update hats being given a "Vintage" status, it is possible to obtain a "Vintage" Vintage Merryweather.
